Viteyes 2 SOFTGELS contain the same combination of vitamins and minerals as Viteyes 2 CAPSULES but as in 'softgel' form which many find easier to swallow. It contains a formula in line with that recommended by pivotal eye health research.

The suggested daily intake of 2 capsules contains the formula recommended by this study.

If you prefer to take this formula with the added benefits of omega 3, order Viteyes 2 plus Omega-3 or additional ingredients such as bilberry, order Viteyes 2 Advanced.

Viteyes 2 SOFTGELS provide a high dose of vitamins C & E, zinc, copper as well as 10mg of lutein and 2mg of zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids not found naturally in the body, but synthesised from our diet and utilised by the body, especially the eye.

  • Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
  • Vitamin C and E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

    New to me

    I have only just started these having been recommended by my consultant in connection with my AMD. Only time will tell whether they are beneficial or not but in the meantime I find them difficult to swallow. I’ve never had a problem before swallowing medication and am not sure why I’m finding these difficult. Any tips would be most helpful and appreciated.

    Thank you for ordering Viteyes softgels as recommended by the eye clinic. I have also emailed you directly to resolve this.
    It is a good idea to take a few sips of water first to lubricate the mouth and throat, apparently fizzy drinks work really well.
    As an alternative, we have capsules that can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled and taken on soft food such as yoghurt, jam or honey.

    Sorry to hear you can't swallow these softgels now. Nothing has changed on the product or formulation itself. I can only see one recent order for but I wonder if you used to have a different form in the past.

    The capsule version has the same formulation but they can be pulled apart to take on food for those who struggle to swallow.
